The Container Store Tampa

Do you consider yourself an organized person? If you answered no to that question, then you need the Container Store in your life!

The Container Store is opening it’s 59th store in Tampa on Saturday, March 16th! I was fortunate enough to be invited to a blogger sneak peek and let me tell you, this place is fabulous!

When I arrived I was greeted by friendly faces, and a scrumptious catered box lunch provided by the infamous Puff and Stuff company! (the same caterer’s that did Monica’s wedding!). There were about 30 bloggers invited to the event, some of which I had already known, and others who I’ve known through the blogging world, but have never met in person. I love these events, as it’s so nice to put a face with a blog name! 😉

While we ate, we learned all about the store, it’s philosophy, and some history on the company. The overall vibe of the Container Store is that it’s focused on the employees and their training, knowledge and overall happiness. Their motto? Happy employes= Happy customers. And I couldn’t agree more. Employees are truly there to help you fill your organizational needs, and work with absolutely no commission as their driving force. Their philosophy has driven them to make the Forbes 100 best companies to work for multiple years in a row. In fact, they’re #16 on the list this year. Impressive! Want to read more about their business model and what they stand for? Check out their blog.

Some of their other neat features include curb side service for online orders (just give them a call, tell them you’re outside picking up an order, and they’ll bring it to your door!). They’re known for their closet and shelving solutions called Elfa and have so many colors and options to fit any size space. In addition, they have a 90 day return policy. If something doesn’t meet your storage needs, return it for a refund or store credit, no questions asked.

I had never been to a store before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I figured their would be storage solutions but was surprised to see they carried kitchen gadgets, luggage, giftwrap and preservation/archival supplies. I love love love to gift wrap and cannot wait to spend some time in that section, especially around the holidays when apparently their gift wrap section becomes the focal point of the store!

*I was compensated with this event invitation in exchange for the store review. All opinions, although awesome, are my own.

  1. The Wish List(s) and I have been hoping (and growing), for years, that a Container Store would open nearby… finally – not only is it “nearby,” it’s in the town I live!!! I can’t wait until Saturday the 16th!

  2. OOOH! I LOVE LOVE LOVE The Container Store! How king of you to share your goodies – that looks like an awesome event! 🙂 I would love to try the sock holders as I am tired of losing running socks in the wash. My ‘missing a mate’ pile is getting bigger than the ones that match up. 😉 Thank you for the giveaway.
